Sovereign Remedies was opened in October of 2014, by Charlie Hodge and his partner Sunil Patel bringing together years of work in the hospitality industry with years of farming the land. Currently heading their kitchen is Chef Bert Sheffield, originally from Baton Rouge, LA. Working with local, seasonal ingredients, Chef Bert creates menu items that he hopes you will find not only delicious, but nourishing to the body and soul. Along with Chef s many other well-honed skills, he also practices whole animal butchery and serves as an educator to farms with sustainable practices.
